We have been growing giant pumpkins for a bout 30 years now and have kept the seed from the largest almost every year. The seeds that are up for sale are from the giants that we grew in 2022. We do isolate the giant pumpkins from our other crops to keep them from cross pollenating.

A few notes about each pumpkin that we harvested the seed from…

307lb Giant Pumpkin - It was the largest of the pumpkins this year. It came from an almost solid green pumpkin from the year before. It grew to be a tannish pink one this year.

275lb Giant Pumpkin - It wasn’t the largest this year, but it sure came close!. It was tannish pink and shaped like most Atlantic Giant types.

260lb Giant Pumpkin - It was tannish pink and shaped like most Atlantic Giant types.

252lb Giant Pumpkin - It was tannish pink and shaped like most Atlantic Giant types.

197lb Giant Pumpkin - It was an orange pumpkin that still had the shape of an Atlantic Giant type just not the normal tannish pink.

137lb Giant Pumpkin - It was an orange pumpkin that had a rounder shape, more like a Prizewinner pumpkin. P.S. We named it Todd.
