I was shocked this morning looking over the weather maps, especially the three primary weather prognostication maps for the next 10 days and seeing something a bit unexpected. No, it isn’t the snow forecast for the weekend since that looks to be a given for someplace in Michigan this weekend although it is too early to say if northern or southern Michigan will wind up with the largest total. My shock was when I perused the prognostic maps starting on Tuesday and going into the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It sure looks like November will wind up with quite a warm spell and it also looks like this November will wind up with an average temperature that will be one of the warmest in the record books!
Keep in mind that right now, because of the likelihood of accumulating snow in our parking/sales area tonight and tomorrow, we will (as usual with an accumulating snowfall) be closed tomorrow and also possibly Monday depending if the snow is gone by Monday morning. As it appears right now we will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
