Thursday, November 5, 2015: We still have our candy-sweet SunSugar cherry tomatoes! Also, many apples, winter squash, and potatoes!

While the second Junjun Summer this fall will be ending tomorrow, the temperatures are expected to be at or above normal for the foreseeable future.  El Nino, as it looks to me, is still strengthening!  This means in all likelihood we will have above normal temperatures for some time.  One must keep in mind though, that normal highs during the first week in December are only in the upper 30s!  While it will be several months before the boys of summer start practicingl down south, we will still be picking the taste of summer (SunSugar cherry tomatoes) that we grow in our high tunnels.  Quite soon, however, they too will succumb to the short days of fall and we will have to wait until after Memorial Day  to enjoy them fresh again!
